Company findings
Key findings on the assessed companies were first presented at biodiversity COP16 in Cali in October 2024. The complete report and full data were made available in December 2024.
Updated findings were published in October 2025, and the full dataset in November 2025.
The findings reveal critical gaps in action on deforestation, ecosystem conversion and associated human rights abuses.

Global Canopy in Brazil
Global Canopy is a data-driven not-for-profit that targets the market forces destroying nature. We have been working on projects in Brazil since 2007, including through Trase. Over the years, we have collaborated with organisations such as Imaflora, Instituto Centro de Vida, WWF-Brasil and others.
Since 2024, we have deepened our focus on Brazil and cattle supply chains through new initiatives, including Floresta 250 – Cattle and the Roteiro de Finanças Livres de Desmatamento. Our goal is to support finance, business, government and civil society in the just transition to a zero-deforestation economy by 2030.
